How to Apply

Record Two Songs

Record one original arrangement of a cover song and one original composition, 8 minutes or less combined. Smartphone audio recordings are accepted.

Notes Before You Apply

The cover song is included to judge your "arranging skill suited to solo guitar." To showcase this to the judges, we recommend choosing a widely known piece.

※Some songs may not be authorized for arrangement. Please confirm there are no copyright issues before applying.
※Arranging a song generally requires permission from the copyright holder. You can look up copyright holders through resources such as "J-WID" on the JASRAC website.
※If you would like to avoid the arrangement-permission application process, please use a piece whose copyright term has expired.
※Once your application is submitted, entry details cannot be changed. Thank you for your understanding.
